The Hitchcock-Butterfield Company began in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1996. J. Frederic & Vera Cohen, owners of Lamp & Lantern Store (now Lamps & More), saw a void in the retail home market and decided to expand their product line to meet this need.
Fred began his career as a territorial sales rep, and later expanded into retail with The Lamp & Lantern store. With the birth of The Hitchcock-Butterfield Company, he has further expanded his expertise into manufacturing. Other accomplishments include serving a term on the Board of Directors for the National Home Lighting Institute, and the development of Sparkle Plenty, the first spray-on, no-wipe chandelier cleaner.
With over 38 years of sales experience, Fred & Vera offer a wide selection of American made mirrors. Between the Cameo line of wood-framed, custom-sized mirrors and the Classics group of gold, silver and copper leaf finishes, The Hitchcock-Butterfield Company boasts over 200 items in its product line. Looks great, matches brushed nickle very nicely, beautiful quality of construction - looks anything but cheap. A good value for the quality of mirror it is.

This is a nice mirror that is study but not heavy. It coordinated well with the brushed nickel items in our bathroom.

I hung this mirror in my bathroom and love it. The quality is very good and we are very happy with it. The finish is actally more dull than the web site image. It's beautiful.
