The Hitchcock-Butterfield Company began in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1996. J. Frederic & Vera Cohen, owners of Lamp & Lantern Store (now Lamps & More), saw a void in the retail home market and decided to expand their product line to meet this need.
Fred began his career as a territorial sales rep, and later expanded into retail with The Lamp & Lantern store. With the birth of The Hitchcock-Butterfield Company, he has further expanded his expertise into manufacturing. Other accomplishments include serving a term on the Board of Directors for the National Home Lighting Institute, and the development of Sparkle Plenty, the first spray-on, no-wipe chandelier cleaner.
With over 38 years of sales experience, Fred & Vera offer a wide selection of American made mirrors. Between the Cameo line of wood-framed, custom-sized mirrors and the Classics group of gold, silver and copper leaf finishes, The Hitchcock-Butterfield Company boasts over 200 items in its product line.
We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Be sure to include your name and tracking number on the note.
