The Hitchcock-Butterfield Company began in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1996. J. Frederic & Vera Cohen, owners of Lamp & Lantern Store (now Lamps & More), saw a void in the retail home market and decided to expand their product line to meet this need.
Fred began his career as a territorial sales rep, and later expanded into retail with The Lamp & Lantern store. With the birth of The Hitchcock-Butterfield Company, he has further expanded his expertise into manufacturing. Other accomplishments include serving a term on the Board of Directors for the National Home Lighting Institute, and the development of Sparkle Plenty, the first spray-on, no-wipe chandelier cleaner.
With over 38 years of sales experience, Fred & Vera offer a wide selection of American made mirrors. Comments about Hitchcock Butterfield Company Kalahari Mirror in Mesa Verdi:
Looks great in our rich 'rainforest' themed bath. Walls are fauxed bronze and gold and our granite is green with maroon/white veining. It's perfect in this bathroom. There are so many sizes, I would recommend ordering as wide as the vanity top minus 1-2". It is very heavy to hang so have a helper!
