My wife has many necklaces that are too long to hang properly in her other jewelry boxes. THe additional height provided by this jewelry box lets her longer necklaces hang without getting tangled on the bottom of the box. This is just what she was looking for.

This jewelry box was a Christmas present for my 24-year-old daughter. Her two requirements were that she wanted a jewelry box that she could hang her longer necklaces in, and it could not be mounted on the wall (she rents). This jewelery box is exactly what she wanted! She has it on her dresser and just loves it. It was easy to assemble - she did it on her own with no help from Dad. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

I have always been searching for a jewelry box that was tall enough to hang necklaces without them dragging on the bottom in the display case (like most you see at major department stores). When I stumbled across this box I about died! It is tall enough to accommodate ALL of my jewelry -- even my 18" chains! -- without any dragging! The ring slots are a major plus and the rack setup is a great way of storing your post earrings. The only problem I have had is that certain pairs of earrings cannot be kept in the earring rack due to being too small (studs) or too short from tip to tip. Overall... this is a WONDERFUL box! My mom has been searching for the same thing and will be purchasing one for herself as she fell in love with mine at first sight.
