The color is not what I expected. Much darker! But still pretty. It takes a 3-way bulb. Finish is slightly uneven giving it a handmade appeal. I like it.

This lamp is large - a pair is just what I needed in my great room. Shade is particularly attractive at night (shade glows). Great lamp to read by, yet great ambient light both upwards and downwards. The open lattice-work of the base is very interesting, especially on such a large mass. Offered at a very good price.
