The Uttermost Company was founded in 1975 by Bob and Belle Cooper and is still 100% family owned today. Uttermost is now the largest manufacturer of framed mirrors in the United States, and one of the largest manufacturers of lamps, wall art, and clocks.
The growth of Uttermost is primarily due to their commitment to three things–superior service, maximizing the value of the products they make, and treating their employees and sales representatives as partners in business. Their mission is simple... to make great home accessories at a reasonable price. This has been their guiding light since the day they started twenty eight years ago.

After two generations of furniture manufacturing, Bob and Belle Cooper founded The Uttermost Company in 1975, and it is still 100% owned by the Cooper family. Bob and Belle continue to be involved in the business, but are not active in day-to-day activities. Mac Cooper, President/CEO, Taz Cooper, Exec VP/Sales Manager, and a strong management team operate the business today.
Uttermost has enjoyed steady growth for the past 31 years, and now has approximately 290 employees working in its Rocky Mount, Virginia factories totaling 600,000 square feet. Uttermost also has a factory in China which covers an entire city block. In May ’06, Uttermost will be fully operational out of its state-of-the-art West Coast distribution center. This West Coast facility has been added to increase distribution capacity, provide faster shipping to West Coast Retailers, and reduce freight costs to these Retailers.

I love the simplicity of this mirror...ordered it for our upstairs bathroom remodel and liked it so much that I just ordered 2 more for our master bathroom remodel. Spent a lot of time looking at mirrors and am glad that we got this one, it goes with everything!

Goes well in our bathroom...simple design doesn't distract from other decorative features in the room. Only downside is that it wasn't very easy to hang.

Fit and function
The hooks provided did not meet quality of mirror. On one mirror the hooks were a different length and on the other the nails were to short and the mirrow pulled from the wall. Hooks did not match quality and function of the mirrow.

I bought two of these mirrors to complete the restrooms in a new dental facility I was designing. They are stunning and elegant without the high price tag. We are very happy with the end result.

Bought two of these for our bathroom and they look great. They are large, simple, and the oval shape echoes the shape of the sinks over which they're placed. No fuss, no muss yet classy.

The quality is great. I purchased this mirror with the intention of using it in my remodeled bathroom but it looked to small. It found a home in my guest room instead.

We purchased 3 of these mirrors. Two of which are in 2 of our 3 bathrooms. The third was damaged by our builder, so they paid for a replacement. We actually arranged the mirror sideways instead of how you display it. It looks great with our vessel sinks and granite countertops. The quality of the mirrors is excellent.
